Update to the Pancake recipe that can be found below! Simply substitute very ripe plantains for the bananas in the recipe! The results are a dense pancake that holds up a little better to cooking.

These are a great, all natural, minimally process version of the traditional pancake! Give them a try, it’s easier than it looks!

This is a quick and healthy alternative to your classic American breakfast pancake. Not bad at all. Add cinnamon for some fruit for some extra flavor.

Whats in it?

  • 2 medium bananas (ripe)
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1 medium egg

Make it!

1 Peel ripe bananas and mush them in a bowl with a fork. I left it kinda chunky
2 Mix in the almond butter and egg and whisk it all together until its well combined.
3 Heat a pan on medium heat and make as many pancakes you want. I got 4x 3.5" pancakes out of this recipe.
4 Flip when golden brown just like "real" pancakes.
